Alexx Starr is a great DC comic who has taken the local scene by storm over the last few years. He has performed at the DC Improv and at the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City, and he has run 10,000 of the best and worst shows in DC comedy history. Alexx headlines the show tonight at Jake’s Boiler Room and so we thought we’d ask him a few simple questions in preparation.
GCDC: If you could have dinner with any person, living, dead or fictitious, who might it be and what might you order?
AS: I would have dinner with Michael J. Fox. I’d order us both soup.
GCDC: When was the first mainstream concert you ever attended and who was the headlining act?
AS: First mainstream act: Dave Chappelle.
GCDC: What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in comedy?
AS: Never listen to anyone advice unless it comes from Alexx Starr. And then really don’t listen to that because I was lying.
GCDC: On a scale of 1-10, how much are you looking forward to the new Star Wars movie?
AS: Wtf is Star Wars?
GCDC: If you could add a question to this questionnaire, what would it be and what would be your answer?
AS: What’s the difference between a comedian and a comic?
See you tonight at Jake’s!
